End of Clinical/Field Shift Evaluation Requirements
Once you begin the checkout process at the end of your clinical or field shift, you must complete all required evaluations before leaving the site, and your preceptor should be with you during this process.
Steps to Complete the Evaluations:
Review the Checkout Instructions:
Before you start, read the instructions on your checkout page carefully to ensure you understand each step.
Start the Checkout Process:
The evaluation process takes about 5 minutes from start to finish.
Preceptor Signature:
The system will first prompt you to have your preceptor sign the shift summary using your device. This is simply confirming that the student attended and completed the entire shift. In the rare case that your preceptor is unavailable, please review the knowledge base article related to an alternate signer. Preceptor Evaluation:
After signing, your preceptor will complete their evaluation of you directly on your device.
Make sure they answer all questions before submitting.
Once done, they’ll return the device to you.
Student Evaluation:
You will then complete your own evaluation, which includes rating:
The site you attended
Your preceptor
Your own performance
Submit and Confirm:
Once you click Submit, you’ll see a confirmation message that your checkout has been completed. At that point, you’re cleared to leave the site.
