Acadian Ambulance - Required Online Training Process
Overview
Students who are interested in attending shifts at any Acadian Ambulance location are required to complete specific onboarding steps before participating. This article outlines the required process and training expectations.
Step 1: Submit an Acadian Request
- Students must first submit an Acadian request through the Axon Student Portal.
- Once the request is submitted, students will receive detailed instructions within the portal for creating their NEMSA account.
Step 2: Create a NEMSA Account
- After receiving instructions, students are required to create their NEMSA account:
- Ensure all required profile information is completed accurately
- This account is mandatory to proceed with Acadian attending shifts.
Step 3: Complete Required Online Orientation
As part of the required training, students must:
- Complete the online orientation modules as prompted within the training system
- Follow all instructions provided during the virtual training process
- All orientation requirements must be completed in full.
Step 4: Upload Ride Along Agreement
Students must:
- Upload the Ride Along Agreement into their Acadian Personalized Training Center
